At the WOB distillery, Wolfram Ortner tinkered with the production of the millennium brandy for ten years. At the tenth anniversary of the distillery in Bad Kleinkirchheim, this amazing guy will present at the turn of the millennium a perfect symphony of a barrique-stored apple brandy, called "Evolution", which however ranks as a revolution of a noble distillate.

If slalom and giant slalom were once the passion of this former ski racer, Wolfram Ortner has simply transferred his passion from the fight between the gate poles into his high-tech distillery in Bad Kleinkirchheim. In addition to especially aromatic and pure fruit and grape brandies, there are fine spirits also being produced for cigar friends in the "château of noble spirits". Aficionados appreciate brandies with higher alcohol content matured in wooden barrels for the completion of the smoking pleasure. For these clients the distillery WOB is offering four "flagships": WOB DÖ MONTE apple brandy barrique, WOB DÖ DAVI plum brandy barrique, WOB DÖ FLEUR grape brandy barrique, and the Austrian answer to whiskey, the WOB DÖ MALT Hirter bock beer brandy.

According to a unique concept, Wolfram Ortner has created a true millennium distillate: the WOB-EVOLUTION apple brandy barrique: "Selected domestic apple varieties from the Carinthian Lavanttal Valley were carefully distilled and matured in Limousin-barriques. The fine interplay of the scents of vanilla, caramel and coffee, and the complex, multiple and intensely fruity taste structure result, in connection with a very individual and sumptuous candy tone, in a brandy with style and class. The limited edition of this ingenious distillate is contained to 350 bottles.

Wolfram Ortner has also dedicated a special WOB glass of his series to brandies of high alcohol content matured in wooden barrels. At the Destillata Trade Fair the WOB-Cognac has been repeatedly awarded the Schnapps Glass of the Year since it brings out the contents in an especially harmonious and rounded-off way.

The fine interplay of the scents of vanilla, caramel and coffee, and the complex, intricate and deeply fruity taste structure, in connection with a unusual, opulent candy tone all result in a brandy with style and class. This edition of this refined brandy is limited to 350 bottles.
